MV’s AUTUMN 2015
2015 Autumn season is coming towards us with much anticipation with the diverse range of acts we have playing. Here’s some picks:
GWENNO (co-headline with H Hawkline) @ Otherplace at the Basement – 24th September
The lovely Welsh musicianwho alsoplays in the Pipettes has now gone solo and we’re loving her first debut album “Y Dydd Olaf” (out via Heavenly Records), all in Welsh and music that translates her internationalist influences into layered, home-fi keyboard sounds wrapped in echoed vocals and musique concrète-inspired beats.
TWO GALLANTS @ The Haunt – 9th October
The guitar/drum indie-rock duo are coming back to Brighton. This time it’s with their new album ‘We Are Undone’, a dark, stark piece of Americana.
JULIA HOLTER @ Komedia – 9th November
Julia Holter returns!! Her new album ‘Have You In My Wilderness’ is her most intimate album yet, exploring love, trust, and power in human relationships. Her new single ‘Feel You’ is probably one of the best dog-related music videos we’ve ever seen.
