Ceyda Tanc Dance joins the Electric Dreams line up!

Electric Dreams is only 9 days away and we’re delighted to announce that Ceyda Tanc Dance will be joining us, too! Ceyda Tanc Dance focuses on creating cutting edge and dynamic contemporary dance works, with influence of traditional Turkish folk dance. We’ve been watching all their previews of their ‘Volta’ performance and we’re very impressed. Check out what’s in store here! Not only that, but have a look at some pictures of Ceyda Tanc Dance we’ve uploaded to our Facebook! Don’t forget also on the lineup is Brighton (and Melting Vinyl favourites) Grasscut, Dan Powell, Alphabets Heaven and Fallow PLUS after hours music from C-Dogg! Tickets for Electric Dreams are available through Towner’s website.

On the 21st of March storming into The Green Door Store is energetic New Zealand rockers Die! Die! Die! If the name doesn’t appeal to you then the music definitely will! Here they are in session at 95bFM (a weekly series properly showcasing the best & brightest of New Zealand music) Tickets for Die! Die! Die! are available from our website here!

Talking of tickets, there is only a VERY SMALL AMOUNT (by that we mean definitely less than 20, probably less than 10 now) of tickets for King Creosote‘s intimate show at The Basement! At Melting Vinyl HQ, we have a firm favourite in My Favourite Girl (because we’re quite soppy here.) When King Creosote played his sold out show at St George’s church last February it was very special, so don’t miss this unique opportunity to see him at The Basement in April. Get yours now via TicketWeb or pop into Resident.

And did anybody listen to Edwyn Collins on Radcliffe & Maconie’s show on BBC 6 Music on Tuesday? If you missed it, you can listen back here! Edwyn was chatting about his new album ‘Understated’ and playing a few tracks from it, including our favourite ‘ Dilemna‘ and we even got a little play of the classic Orange Juice Rip It Up! Tickets for Edwyn Collins’ St George’s Church show are on sale here, but these are selling fast so hurry!
