Christmas Party NEXT WEEK!

It’s now less than a week until Christmas!!!!

And by Christmas we mean the Christmas party, obviously.

Wednesday 12th (of the 12th, 2012!) We are hosting an unmissable party at The Green Door Store, and it’s only half price to get in if you bring along an old ticket stub of a Melting Vinyl show from this year! For music we bring you chill-out-two-piece Coves, who are attracting acclaim for their retro-tinged indie, with jangling guitars and drowsy dream-like vocals. Brighton’s own Peppermint Beat Band also join us, making an exciting blend of heartfelt rootsy folk rock and psychedelia rhythms. Finally, Melting Vinyl favourite Tarq Bowen also joins us, the definitive singer-songwriter with a vintage yet modern feel, creating music which doesn’t fit into genre categorization but which makes sense as soon as you hear it. This is a live artist not to be missed!

There will also be some of us, Melting Vinyl DJs with Christmas activities, Christmas songs covered the bands and Christmas treats to give us all that festive feeling!

Celebrate in style, tickets for the Christmas party are available here!

Also we have a new announcement for April 2013! After his sold out St George’s Church show in February we welcome back the great King Creosote! The Scottish singer-songwriter comes back with his It Turned Out For The Best EP at Brighton’s most atmospheric yet hideen venue, The Basement. Tickets are on sale now and available here!

Don’t forget the most talked about act at The Mercury’s this year Roller Trio are coming to Komedia on Monday. Tickets are available on the door for £8.50, or get yours here from Ticketweb now!

See you all at the Christmas party on Wednesday, bring your Santa hats!
