Competition Time! Win a pair of tickets to East Meets West Clubnight 25th June!

For all those have already been treated to the festival of Japanese Art/Music/Culture that is Brighton Japan 2011, you will have already experienced the exotic Tokyo setting of the specially constructed Festival Hub, and for those who haven’t made it down yet here’s your chance!

To celebrate the finale of a week of events curated by Melting Vinyl in association with Moshi Moshi at The Festival Hub, we are offering a pair of tickets to join the festivities at the East Meets West Clubnight on Saturday 25th June.

This night is set to feature DJ sets from the Japantastic DK720 playing a genre blending mix of Japanese music old and new with a twist and ‘live’ karaoke, where attendees will have the opportunity to belt out both contemporary and classic favourites, backed by a live backing band.  If that wasn’t enough, these will be served with a Tokyo twist, with the playful and theatrical Maids Cafe on hand to charm audiences throughout the night with performances and Japanese games.

Send you Japanese themed email to [email protected] and the lucky winner will be drawn at sunset on Friday 24th 2011!

For those who can’t wait, tickets are still available from here for East Meets West Clubnight.

Also to get you in the mood for Saturday’s extravaganza, Melting Vinyl present Tokyo Sounds: New Music Showcase on Friday 24th June, a evening featuring the finest emerging Japanese Musicians and DJ sets from London’s hottest Japan-centric clubnight, Japan Underground.
