Freaky Folk, Art School Folk, Happy Folk and Zombie Folk!

We have a very exciting evening of music, entertainment and arts to tell you about!

Towner’s legendary club nights in conjunction with us at Melting Vinyl urge you to Embrace The Dark and come and immerse yourself in our Folk-themed night! There’s so much going on, from singing along to Early Ghost (who have played with Beirut) to face painting and headdress making! To have a better understand of the whole night, our very own Anna Moulson tells you everything you need to know with Melita Dennett on RadioReverb 97.2FM from Tuesday’s show. Did you miss it? DON’T PANIC! Here is it on a podcast for you to listen back to. Isn’t that handy? Tickets for Towner are available on their website and are on sale now!

New show announcement!! November 23rd we welcome Ravens & Chimes to The Hope! The New York art school indie rockers bring us their new album Holiday Life, an album pulsing with triumphant energy. Little fact for you – their single “Carousel” – was originally penned for submission to “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” soundtrack. Pretty cool, eh! Signed to Better Looking Records, they make music for cities that never sleep and the people that inhabit them, songs for late nights gone awry and early mornings spent picking at warm bowls of regret. Don’t miss this! Tickets on sale now from here!

The stunning Martha Wainwright (who’s St George’s Church show is selling really really really fast) was hanging out with the lovely Lauren Laverne yesterday and had such a great time she ended up doing a live session for her! But again DON’T PANIC IF YOU MISSED IT! We’re being very helpful and giving you another link for you to listen back just here! Martha Wainwright’s new album ‘Come Home To Mama’ is their album of the day TODAY! As we said, this show is selling really really really fast, that’s 3 really’s, so make sure you don’t miss out and get your tickets while you still can here.

And finally with only a week to go we’re really excited to see Parisian duo Zombie Zombie come to visit us at The Green Door Store! With support from Brighton favourites (and Melting Vinyl favourites!) AKDK this show is going to be really exciting. Zombie Zombie’s new album ‘Rituels d’un Nouveau Monde’ is finally ready! Released on Monday 22nd October, this loopy, hypnotic synth work captivates Zombie Zombie’s deliciously creepy sound.
