Glastonbury 2014

What an amazing Glastonbury weekend! We were really excited to see so many artists who have played and/or are playing Melting Vinyl shows.

MV were especially blown away by St. Vincent’s set (check it out), which bodes well for her only South show this October in Eastbourne.
As well as Nick Mulvey, continuing to turn the notion of singer-songwriter on its head, who played the Pyramid Stage. He will be coming  to Brighton to grace us with his captivating presence at an MV show at the Komedia this October.

A lot of the sets are being showed over at BBC’s iPlayer.

Cate Le Bon

Wild Beasts

Emiliana Torrini and Cate Le Bon also played a lovely set at Glastonbury, just days after they both played a warm-up show with us. Emiliana returned to her second home, Brighton, to play a beautiful set at St. George’s Church and Cate played Revelation St. Mary’s event in Ashford giving us two encores!

Also at Glastonbury were Melt Yourself Down, Dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip, East India Youth; artists we’ve had the great pleasure of putting on.
