Going, Going, Gone…!
The announcements just keep coming and coming in past past couple of weeks! On Monday we announced singer songwriter Nick Mulvey at the Proud Cabaret Brighton!
Nick Mulvey’s writing has inspired Mercury Prize winners Alt-J with his compelling lyrics and beautiful guitar technique. Former Portico Quartet percussionist brings his new EP ‘Fever To The Form’ out on Communion Records. The single ‘Fever To The Form’ you can listen to here! Tickets are on sale now!
Two of our October shows are selling really really really fast. And by really fast, we mean Dan Le Sac VS Scroobius Pip only have 6 tickets left at Union Music Store. No other outlets have tickets left so if you want a ticket, quickly make your way to Union Music Store. Were you one of the 86,000 odd people who jumped onto YouTube for the release of their video for single Stunner? How amazing is the video? And the single? You haven’t heard it? IT’S HERE! And it’s bloody great.
The other is Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit at St George’s Church. After going on sale last Friday these have been flying out of all your usual outlets. Don’t miss out on this jam packed show (which also has incredible support from Marika Hackman and Cosmo Sheldrake) get your tickets now from here!
What we love about getting into the Autumn is watching our bands all through the summer at festivals. This year, Tamikrest have been all over the festival scene, with shows at Latitude, Womad and Sines in Portugal. This will be Tamikrest’s first Brighton show, and after watching their show at Sines we can’t wait to see them at Komedia. Watch their Sines performance here!
Tomorrow is the day we have all been waiting for for a very very long time. It’s FINALLY here! Patti Smith will be in our seaside town at the beautiful St George’s Church. This incredible show is completely sold out. No tickets are available from any outlets or on the door. To everyone who has tickets, we look forward to seeing you tomorrow! Remember to check out Twitter feed @MeltingVinyl for the timings for the show.
