New Stuff For The Summer!

Lots of new shows have been announced in the last week and we’re here to tell you all about them right now! Yes!

First up she has been described as a cross between Ella Fitzgerald and Tom Waits, the feisty Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside will be at Komedia on the 9th June! Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside’s new record Untamed Beast is a visceral rock and roll romp, and has established herself as one of the most powerful female voices in indie rock. Party Kids is taken from her new album Untamed Beast which you can listen to here! Tickets are on sale now via our website.

Next, lead singer of Animal Collective Avey Tare brings his Slasher Flicks to The Green Door Store in June! Now we all know Animal Collective for bringing us brilliant tunes including My Girls so we were super excited to find out about Avey Tare’s solo stuff. Tickets are just £9.50 and are on sale now!

And finally we’re thrilled to welcome back former frontman of Miracle Legion Mark Mulcahy to The Latest Music Bar this August! Soulful singer-songwriter Mark is back with his new record ‘Dear Mark J Mulcahy I Love You’ (sweet, eh!) which is out now on Fire Records. He’s know however for lovely little songs like In Pursuit Of Your Happiness. Tickets are on sale now, you can grab yours here!

TONIGHT we welcome back our favourite sisters in the whole wide world The Staves to St Mary’s Church in Ashford with Revelation St Mary’s. Tickets for this are now sold out! Last week, their single ‘Facing West’ was record of the week on Jo Wiley’s show on BBC Radio 2, and it just so happens to be Emma’s (our marketing girl) favourite too! Have a listen to when they performed it on Later… With Jools Holland back in November, here!

Keep your eyes and ears open next week,  for we have a couple MORE announcements which we will be announcing on our Twitter!
