Melting Vinyl: Bringing the cream of live music to Brighton.

Tamikrest’s stunning Brighton show!

We hope you’re enjoying this blustery winter weather! If you ventured out to see Tamikrest on Tuesday we hope you enjoyed it; loads of dancing and excellent Mali percussion made for a really special night. The band have had an amazing week, with slots of 6 Music and Radio 1, and rave reviews in the Guardian, the Independent and pretty much everywhere else as well!

This week we’ve been listing to Waxahatchee in the office and getting excited for our upcoming show with Radio 1 favourites, Coasts, on Halloween. We’re also enjoying local bands Teeth of the Sea and latest Fat Cat Records signings, Traams. Traams have a show at the Pavilion Theatre this weekend, so make sure to check them out.

If you were lucky enough to grab a ticket to Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip’s sell out show at Komedia last week we hope you had fun. All the Melting Vinyl team were there. What a great night! Send us any photos from the gig to press@meltingvinyl.co.uk.

Check out our twitter (@metingvinyl) for up to the minute announcements, and get in touch to let us know what you’re loving or hating this week, or which artists you’d love us to bring to Brighton.
