Wishing you a Happy New Year!

2010 has seen some possibly the best line up of shows ever, including Beirut’s epic and only English show at the Winter Gardens in Eastbourne, Jonsi’s mesmerising live performance at the Dome Concert Hall, and for those lucky enough to get tickets, Laura Marling’s beautiful set at the Melting Vinyl & Willkommen Foxtrot at Stanmer House.

With 2011 upon us, we look back on a decade of Melting Vinyl that brought the likes of The Strokes, The White Stripes, Sigur Ros, Elliot Smith, Godspeed You Black Emperor, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs to these shores.

Next year promises to hold a wealth of delights, featuring Brighton’s own Esben & the Witch’s largest home town show at the Pavilion Theatre, the return of Brooklyn’s finest, The Walkmen, and tickets flying out for the likes of Iron & Wine, Gruff Rhys and The Go! Team.

Also, hold onto your hats for a HUGE announcement coming in January!

See our top fives for 2010 (well after many arguments, we had to go for top tens for gigs for some) and here goes ours for this year…
