Revelation St. Mary’s Presents…

A well deserved headline and a Cannon Woods curated show, the
excellent four-piece features the perfect sound for the acoustics of
St Mary’s; guitars, mandolin, violin, bass and drums, folky, acoustic,
poppy band all hailing from Ashford, Kent. Cannon Woods started when
two passionate young musicians, James Carroll and Rob Thorogood began
playing guitar together, close Highworth school friend Sam Hawkins was
added to play mandolin and finally Connor Brown was drafted in on
violin and the band found their own sound.
Since this time they have been busy performing Platform 5, Oxjam
fesival, Canterbury, Tenterden, Tunbridge Wells and City Sound Project
festival.

A must see for fans of Mumford and Sons, Bears Den and Johnny Flynn!

Special guests are The Standard Lamps and Hepzibah.

The Standard Lamp are a three piece band from East Sussex/Kent who performed a great live set on the main stage at Create this year. Their music can be described as a mixture of melodic tunes with a raw blues edge.

Hepzibah. A young three-piece band from Canterbury, writing classically-influenced acoustic folk music, and influenced by the likes of Bon Iver, Elbow and Nick Drake. The band have already received radio play from the BBC, with their song ‘Move Lil’ Darling’ as BBC’s ‘pick of the week’. Their debut, self-titled EP was recently released and has already gained them an excited following; keep an eye out on this band!
