We are beyond excited and pleased to have Adam Ant headlining the Main Stage at Create Festival this year!
Post punk pop legend will be performing a solo electric show after finishing a sell out UK tour, Adam will be performing a set which will include his famous songs.
Since 2010 Adam Ant, former frontman and singer of Adam and the Ants has reactivated his solo career and his new wave, punk rock attitude, and catchy riffs, has made for brilliantly created music. Adam is no stranger to innovation and keeping things fresh. Through the different incarnations of Adam and the Ants, he has been the driving force behind the creative vision.
One of the seminal figures of new wave, Adam Ant had several distinct phases to his career. Initially, he explored a jagged, guitar-oriented post-punk with his group Adam and the Ants before giving way to a more pop-oriented, glam-tinged musical direction that brought him to the top of the charts. During this time, he recorded several classic pop single including three number ones Stand and Deliver, Prince Charming and Goody two shoes and sold over 40 million records, having a huge impact on mainstream and alternative music.
From the New Wave scene in the 70s and 80s, Adam Ant has been a hugely influential figure, catchy riffs, punk rock attitude and amazing outfits to boot.
For Create Festival he will be performing a very special one off solo electric set.
