Melting Vinyl: Bringing the cream of live music to Brighton.

Originally from Fife, singer-songwriter James Yorkston was an early member of The Fence Collective. Yorkston’s career began as a bassist for Miraclehead before he began playing solo gigs around Edinburgh. In 2002, Yorkston’s debut album “Moving Up Country” became Rough Trade Record Shops Album of the Year.

Having already released six albums, Yorkston has turned his hand to writing, authoring “Its Lovely To Be Here: The Touring Diaries Of A Scottish Gent”.
