It’s with much excitement that we’re able to reveal Denver Indie-poppers Tennis’ upcoming visit to Brighton!

Hitting the Blind Tiger Club this May in anticipation of their Primavera performance, the husband-and-wife duo will be treating our seaside city to a showcase of their charming, nostalgic songcraft.

Having made their name with acclaimed debut album ‘Cape Dory’, a musical document of the couple’s time spent sailing the Eastern Seaboard, Tennis return with the equally lovely ‘Young And Old’ recorded in Nashville with The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney.  Inspired by months on the road, the sparkling indie-pop result successfully avoided the difficult second album syndrome and fans can expect to hear a mix of tunes old and new at this uniquely intimate show.

With the summer months very much on the doorstep, this visit could hardly be better timed, and it’s unlikely you’ll get another chance to catch the band in a venue this size again!

“’Young And Old’ is the sunny pop any listener caught in winter’s grip needs to have on their MP3 player” BBC

”The songwriting is top notch. ‘Dreaming’ is exquisite; Aliana Moore’s breathless vocal plays kiss-chase with a succulent melody and a swirling beat. ‘My Better Self’ tries to be maudlin, but only succeeds to out itself as a masterpiece of synth-pop, while ‘It All Feels The Same’ is shameless ear-candy. Warning: listening to ‘Young And Old’ may cause a serious outbreak of happiness.” Clash
