Brighton seafront got a shake up in 2010. The Brighton Coalition’s opening was a significant addition to the national music scene.

Despite the city already having a throng of bars, pubs and clubs, the people of Brighton have been crying out for more late night, quality music venues. The new seafront site will undoubtedly appease these cries when it opens its doors in March of this year.

Featuring impressive line ups, showcasing the cream of the crop from the live music and DJ / club scenes. Equally, The Brighton Coalition supports celebrated local bands and artists, as well as regularly hosting live comedy and arts entertainment.

With a 500 capacity, raised standing at the rear (at last!), VIP areas and a spectacular brand new, state of the art sound system, this promises to be the new favourite in town. In fact, the sound system has been installed and specifically designed to compliment the venue’s layout, by the very same people who have kitted out The Forum and Wembley Stadium. The owners have even spared a thought for those who might like to sit down amidst the bustle, and have furnished several areas of the venue with pods and sprawling facilities.

Recent Melting Vinyl shows include Carl Barat, Caribou, Four Tet and Jonathan Richman.

Age restrictions: Over 14s welcome, under 16s to be accompanied.
