Now in its eighth year, the Catalyst Club is a unique monthly Brighton event, combining Culture, Politics, Comedy: Three guest speakers take to the lectern to talk for fifteen minutes on a subject close to their heart.
This installment of Catalyst Club will feature physical performer and teacher at New National Theatre, Japan, Sachi Kimura, on the art of ‘bum reading’, comic and manga expert Tim Pilcher on the life and times of Osamu Tezuka, god of Manga, and Moshi Moshi’s own Nicky Rohl discussing his acclaimed Channel 4 documentary, Fake Love, about the controversial Japanese photographer, Araki. Come along, be inspired, learn stuff, drink Japanese beer and make new friends. Hosted by Cheeky Guides creator, Dr David Bramwell.
