Revelation St. Marys presents…
is a Brighton-based company embracing the gentle, golden age of radio; with a happy twist – it’s for your listening and viewing pleasure.
In front of your eyes a talented cast bring to vivid life a variety of classic tweaked scripts – from Briefs Encountered to a Woman in Black spoof – as well as an absurdly clever Noir-style short film written by award-winning Brighton writer Joseph Nixon, with ingenious live sound effects and a panoply of unexpected characters.
This charming and refreshingly cheeky tribute to yesteryear guarantees a highly entertaining event in the beautiful setting of the Revelation St Mary’s…
‘I was intrigued to see if this live format would work – and it does, quite brilliantly. The audience were enthralled and entertained.’ Andrew Kay, The Latest
‘It’s always a joy to see really good, versatile actors play the moment, interpreting scripts with skill and playfulness.’ Fringereview.co.uk
