Joanna and the Dropouts emerged in 2019, infusing their music with catchy riffs and surf-tinged guitar sounds.
Recommended for fans of The Cramps, The B52’s and John Waters films.
Based in both Brighton and London, the band is a harmonious collaboration between husband and wife, Joanna and Ross, along with friends Charlotte and Anthony.
With a string of memorable performances at venues such as, The Piper, and Green Door Store. Joanna and the Dropouts are set to release their much-anticipated EP that seamlessly blends nostalgia with a contemporary twist.
In their releases, as well as their live shows, Call Me Franco track’s merge seamlessly into one another creating long-narrative musical pieces, combining a multitude of genres – surf, prog-rock, tropicalia, latin and garage.
Matt, from the band Stanmore, wears his heart on his sleeve and plays energetic, joyous, hook-laden indie rock pop.
