Tim Burgess Celebrates ‘Up The Bracket’ 10th Birthday!
If you haven’t already heard, one of our favourite albums ‘Up The Bracket‘, The Libertines first masterpiece, is 10 years old this week! To celebrate NME have released the album covered in full by some of the best bands around right now. So they couldn’t have made this album without having Tim Burgess on it! Our favourite Charlatan does a fantastic cover of ‘The Good Old Days’ which is our favourite on the album. He says ‘Carl Barat hasn’t heard it, but it’s faithful to the original so I hope he’ll be pleased with it.’ Take it from us Tim, he will be. Other bands include Howler, The Cast Of Cheers (two more Melting Vinyl favourites) Spector and The Mystery Jets.
