Welcoming the long overdue return of Devendra Benhart for a one-off south coast gig in the beautiful St George’s Church.

Banhart’s music is often referred to as psychedelic folk, freak folk and New Weird America; it is associated with acts such as singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom, musical group CocoRosie, and contemporary folk band Vetiver. The New York Times has called his work “free associative work” and SPIN magazine has described it as “ashram-appropriate guitar strums” and “trippy-hippie tone poetry”. Devendra Banhart’s Flying Wig 2023 11th studio album was produced by Welsh art-rock songwriter: Cate Le Bon

Night House
“Utterly immersive and intoxicating. Grandiose anthems that seamlessly marry the epic and intimate.” Atwood Magazine

Route 500
is the musical world of Derek Inver, drawing comparisons to the likes of Radiohead, The Microphones and Big Thief.
