We’re Halfway Through ‘Dancing In September’!

Two fabulous shows last week that got a lot of praise (which we always like, obviously.) The first was the outstanding Mark Mulcahy at The Latest Music Bar. Everyone was incredibly blown away. What a guy, eh! His best song was The Rabbit, and his band were excellent. Also great support from House Of Hats, we’d love to have you ALL back soon!

It’s only the 5th of September but whilst most of you have that ‘back to school’ feeling still as adults (we know the feeling) and wave goodbye to the incredible weather we’ve had on and off this summer, we’re already 1 show down and looking forward to our fab September lineup!

We also had the brains behind Herman Dune, David Ivar better known these days as Black Yaya make his Brighton debut at The Hope on Sunday. Fresh from a packed out performance at End Of The Road festival Black Yaya graced the stage with his single ‘Paint A Smile On Me‘ a nice summery pop track, very different to his Herman Dune work.

We LOVE to hear your feedback on our shows, so get involved and Tweet us at @MeltingVinyl!

And the September shows don’t stop there! Tomorrow we welcome back Jim White to The Basement with support from Paul Fonfara. Tickets for this super intimate show will be available on the door at £14.

Next Thursday is the very beautiful and lovely Emily Portman Trip at the Komedia studio. She brings with her support from Ellie Ford. For a folky girly evening out, grab a ticket now from here or pop over to Resident!

Tomorrow we have a super cool announcement at 9am. But tomorrow is tomorrow, and we just can’t give anything away. All we will say for now is that fans of John Grant will be very happy.
