Beth Jeans Houghton was born in transylvania to a pack of albino wolves who raised her on chewing tobacco and stuffed clams.
Beth was a mysterious girl who came to these shores while she was on a family holiday in Buttermere in the Lake District, or so the fable inscribed into the album artwork reads.
This acclaimed singer-songwriter augments her subtle acoustica with loops, keyboards and xylophones, creating a wonderful lo-fi pastoral-pop and Brit-folk world into which she entices audiences.
Having collaborated with the likes of Vetiver, John Martyn, Bon Iver, Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom, expect big things in 2011 for this rising star!
