Melting Vinyl: Bringing the cream of live music to Brighton.

Sub Pop’s fabled Canadian indie-electro duo, Handsome Furs, come to Brighton for an intimate headline affair at The Hope on the 16th September 2011.

Every cloud has a silver lining, and this is certainly the case with the indefinite hiatus of Wolf Parade which has allowed founding member Dan Boeckner to unleash another highly anticipated installment from Handsome Furs in 2011.

Like Suicide before them, husband and wife Dan and Alexei Perry use keyboards and drum machines to forge life-affirming anthems taut with muscle and blood, which has lead to comparisons with the likes of The Kills and Peaches.

Building on the cult success of Plague Park (2007) and Face Control (2009), Handsome Furs set the dancefloor alight previewing their latest release Sound Kapital at this year’s Great Escape.

The Band’s riotous live performances have attained a legendary status across the globe, and tickets for this intimate show surely won’t hang around long!
