Mark Peters

In celebration of upcoming record ‘Red Sunset Dreams’ out on 16.09.22 via Sonic Cathedral, Mark Peters will be joining Melting Vinyl for this very special headline show.

A singer-songwriter/producer known as a prominent artistic force behind well loved shoegaze/dream pop band Engineers, Mark Peters has been an active solo artist since the release of his highly acclaimed debut album ‘Innerland’ back in 2017. Peters has also built a strong reputation as a frequent collaborator of other well loved artists including Electronic producer Ulrich Schnauss amongst others.

Mark Peters as a solo artist creates captivating musical sculptures which explore the sonic dynamics of many genres including ambient electronica, shoegaze, dreampop, neo-psychedelia, and experimental. Peters is an artist that has placed himself at the forefront of alternative music, blending the organic realms of guitar music with the more mechanical element of the electronic spectrum. Peters’ art overall creates a highly atmospheric mood which makes entire rooms float into a state of sheer bliss.

Performing a very special stripped down set of their enchanting material…

Brighton’s Dreamcoaster create dreamy, melodic guitar-led songs, written and performed by long-term musical collaborators and partners Jane and Andrew Craig.

Started in 2018 and with several releases to their name, including the Dreamcoaster EP on Spinout Nuggets in January 2022, the band perform a handful of acoustic gigs this autumn.

Dreamcoaster will play as a three-piece for the first time on 21st September supporting Mark Peters at Village, Brighton, where they will introduce new drummer Julian Sowa.

Innerstrings (Playlist)

Psychedelic visual artist and frequent Melting Vinyl collaborator Innerstrings will be providing an array of tasteful tunes for this event.

Innerstrings has compiled a great selection of tunes exploring genres such as ambient, electronica, psychedelia, and shoegaze all of which will keep the atmosphere flowing between our two great live acts.
