Texas born esoteric Americana / Folk singer-songwriter Micah P. Hinson creates an intimate sound which isn’t afraid to be rough around the edges.
Although packaged with a lof-fi sentimentality, Hinson’s songs don’t fail to conjure up a sense of beauty and raw emotion, being built upon the foundations of Southern American baritone vocals, intricate acoustic guitar playing amongst many other instruments traditional to the genre.
Hinson overall, is an incredibly exciting contemporary artist, being unshy of bringing the beauties of imperfection, honesty, and gut feeling to the Americana and folk genres.
