N’famady Kouyaté is a young energetic master musician from Guinea (Conakry), now living in Cardiff.

Following a sold out show in Brighton from this captivating artist, we warmly welcome the return of N’famady Kouyaté.

N’famady’s music is a blend of his West African heritage mixed with Western indie, pop and jazz. His performances create vibrant atmospheres, fuelled by his charisma and charm onstage and backed by an excellent band.

N’famady won the 2023 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, further signalling the bright future of this rising star.

“You could tell from N’Famady’s incredible performance, and the response to it, that he really is an emerging talent who deserves to be seen and heard by a much bigger audience.” Emily Eavis – Glastonbury Festival Organiser – April 2023 (NME)

“The sound of unfettered joy… that’s utterly utterly wonderful”– Adam Walton BBC Radio Wales.

Greenness

Drawing inspiration from hybrid genres, such as trip-hop and folktronica, the music of Greenness aims to create an immersive and emotional experience through the use of various acoustic instruments merged with beats, sound effects, field recordings and evocative bilingual lyrics, in a bid to explore and deepen our connection with ourselves, each other and the environment.

Stunning, trippy folktronica from Brighton’s Franco/Brit duo Greenness… this will haunt you for days.” – BBC Radio Sussex.
An absolute revelation, combining a French pop sensibility with the sort of avant-garde vocalising Tim Buckley used to excel at.” – Brighton Source
