Melting Vinyl presents
Peter Broderick + Tiny Leaves

We are delighted to announce that contemporary composer Peter Broderick (Erased Tapes) will be playing at the The Rose Hill as part of his European tour.

An American-born multi-instrumentalist and singer, Peter Broderick was brought up in a musical household in Oregon. In his later teenage years he became entwined in the indie folk scene in Portland, recording for the likes of M. Ward, Laura Gibson and Dolorean.

Constantly experimenting with different musical genres,  his work ranges from the sparse classical compositions of his debut album Float to the homemade folk music on Home.

Time spent in Denmark saw a five year collaboration with the band Efterklang, and a spell in Berlin explored inspired collaborations with many like-minded artists including German pianist Nils Frahm under the name Oliveray and Englishman Greg Haines as Greg Gives Peter Space

His latest album is inspired by a series of murals titled One Here Now: The Ogham Cycle, created by Irish artist Brian O’Doherty.  ‘One Hear Now’  is a 35-minute composition for violin, voice, piano, synthesizer, percussion and field recordings.

‘Breathless invention and spontaneity’ The Quietus
