Melting Vinyl are delighted to welcome The Be Good Tanyas to St George’s Church this August!

The Be Good Tanyas—Frazey Ford, Trish Klein and Samantha Parton—formed in Vancouver in 1999, and captured the hearts of fans and critics alike for their unique mixture of deep country, early American folk, old-time blues and gospel. Their gorgeous instrumentation, combined with stunning vocals and seamless harmonies create music that is warm, honest and captivating.

The Vancouver-based alt/folk trios will released a career retrospective entitled A Collection (2000 – 2012) in July 2012. The album features stand-out tracks and fan favorites from the band’s three critically-acclaimed full-length albums: Blue Horse (2001), Chinatown (2003) and Hello Love (2006). Additionally, the 16-song collection will include four previously unreleased tracks: two brand new tracks (“Little Black Bear” and “Gospel Song”) and new mixes of “Scattered Leaves” and “Song For R.”

Don’t miss this special performance and rare opportunity to see The Be Good Tanyas in the beautiful St George’s Church. Tickets on sale now!
