Revelations St Mary’s Presents…

Veteran rocker Steve Gibbons, in the company of Fairport Convention’s legendary rhythm section – Gerry Conway (drums) and Dave Pegg (bass) –  join Phil Bond (piano, organ, accordion) and PJ Wright’s pedal steel and slide guitars to create an evening of Bob’s songs, artfully arranged and played by world-class musicians.

Their repertoire spans the whole half-century of his work – from “Don’t think Twice” and others from the Freewheelin’ album – through to highlights of his later-flowering career – “Cold Irons Bound,” “Mississippi.” Even Bob’s fallow periods yield unexpected gems but Dylan’s mid-sixties golden period is fully and lovingly represented.
