Also we have THREE new announcements! In exactly one month from today we have the fantastic funky-folk Erin McKeown at The Latest Music Bar! Over the last decade, Erin has spent an average of 200 nights onstage each year. She has appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Later with Jools Holland, NPR, BBC, and has had her music placed in numerous films, television shows, and adverts.
In April we have dream electro pop girls TEEN at The Haunt on Wednesday 3rd. TEEN’s songs are mysterious and dark, exploring the many sensitivities and emotions, and relying heavily on its vocal arrangements and harmonies to give a very unique sound.
On the 13th the band that inspired Pixies and Joy Divison visit us at The Haunt – Pere Ubu! Pere Ubu make a music that is a disorienting mix of midwestern groove rock, “found” sound, analog synthesizers, falling-apart song structures and careening vocals. It is a mix that has mesmerized critics, musicians and fans for decades. Dont miss out on a rare opportunity to see this band in action.
All tickets are on sale through the website. We look forward to seeing you/tweeting you soon!
