October Supports

October showcases some great support acts. From jazzy alt pop, witty spoken word, gripping electronica, and uplifting folk, this month’s openers are spanning all genres. Take a look at all the opening acts we have coming up. 

Robert Kretzschmar is a German singer/songwriter and drummer with a gentle and spacious sound that mixes alt pop with jazz-leaning instrumentation. His minimalistic vocal melodies and smooth tone weave through soulful instrumentation that evokes just the right amount of emotion. He will be opening for Anna Erhard at The Rossi Bar in Brighton on the 12th of October. 

Sulk Rooms is a Yorkshire-based composer who fuses vibrant electronica with inviting soundscapes. Their music is a captivating and immersive experience, creating a dynamic world within seemingly simple sounds. They will be opening for award-winning experimental DJ Kayla Painter at The Rose Hill in Brighton on the 16th of October. 

Also opening for Kayla Painter at The Rose Hill on October 16th is BUNKR. BUNKR (James Dean) is a Brighton-based musician and producer who has been releasing music since 2017. His sound has evolved into a versatile yet cohesive blend of otherworldly electronica. 

Little Clouds are an Australian singer/songwriter duo from Sydney. Their music consists of glistening instrumentals and inspiring lyricism that come together to create an uplifting and organic folk sound. The pair are both multi-instrumentalists, playing guitar, bass, piano, synths, and accordion. They will be opening for The Magic Lantern on the 22nd of October at The Folklore Rooms in Brighton. 

Emma Gatrill is a Brighton-based multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter. Her music is a captivating and thought-provoking fusion of folky vocal melodies and the drumbeats of electropop. She will be opening for MEMORIALS on the 24th of October at Alphabet in Brighton. 

Thick Richard is a critically acclaimed spoken word artist from Manchester. With a dedicated following in the UK’s poetry and spoken word scene, he speaks on topics like social media and the social climate of today’s world with a witty and brutally honest approach. He will be opening for AK/DK on the 31st of October at Alphabet Brighton.
