Get ready for a great selection of artists and bands this October. We have a diverse line-up coming to Brighton this month – from tongue-in-cheek indie pop hits to harmonic, soul-baring ballads.

Thursday 10th October
Joan As Police Woman at St. George’s Church, Brighton
Innovative jazz-infused singer-songwriter Joan As Police Woman offers rich instrumentation and captivating melodies. Her latest single, ‘Back Again’, is packed full of smooth vocal layers over polished production.

Saturday 12th October: SOLD OUT
Anna Erhard + special guests playing The Rossi Bar, Brighton
Swiss singer-songwriter Anna Erhard creates the perfect blend of grungy production and tongue in cheek lyrics. Her autobiographical indie pop tracks thrive on a relatability that is hard to find in modern music.7:30pm, £14 on the door, £12 (+ booking fee) in advance.
Wednesday 16th October
Kayla Painter + Sulk Rooms at The Rose Hill, Brighton
Kayla Painter is a multi-talented artist, musician and DJ. She has composed an EP for sync and her debut album ‘Fractures’ is set to be released in October. Her music is an energetic and otherworldly soundscape with deep bass and robotic synths. She will be joined by the skilled Yorkshire-based composer Sulk Rooms to create a truly immersive experience.

Thursday 22nd October
The Magic Lantern + special guests playing The Folklore Rooms, Brighton
Australian-born singer-songwriter The Magic Lantern (Jamie Doe) blurs the lines between genres. With jazz-inspired vocal runs and instrumentation, his music takes the best of contemporary, folk, and jazz to create a familiar yet unique sound. His fifth album ‘To Everything A Season’ will be released on October 4th, featuring his latest single ‘Home’ touching on themes of nostalgia and new beginnings.

Thursday 24th October
MEMORIALS + special guest at ALPHABET, Brighton
The talented duo of Verity Susman and Matthew Simms formed MEMORIALS in 2022 with the release of two soundtrack albums for ‘Tramps!’ and’ Women Against The Bomb’. The pair are the sole writers and producers of their music, recording it all in their own studio. MEMORIALS have a very cohesive and recognisable sound with rich instrumentation and distant-sounding layered vocals.
