Melting Vinyl is thrilled to present an intimate recorded performance with Brighton’s exquisite dream-pop trio CIEL.

There’s an intrinsic mystique to Brighton’s CIEL’s dreamy alt pop gems, that convey a wistful and ethereal quality, juxtaposed with glazy guitar layers, driven basslines, and frontwoman Michelle Hindriks’ mesmeric vocals always standing out.

Moving from The Netherlands to Brighton, Hindriks joined forces with Spanish guitarist Jorge Bela Jimenez and drummer Tim Spencer to form CIEL. The three-piece have quickly earned kudos for their exquisite live show, after supporting the likes of Hatchie, Sasami and Penelope Isles.

Having already generated widespread praise throughout the press landscape (Dork, Clash, Gigwise) and several plays across the airwaves (BBC 6 Music, KEXP), CIEL’s thrilling potential has certainly been amplified in recent months and partnering up with the esteemed Iggy B (John Grant, Spiritualized, Ghostpoet) on production duties sees them transition into new, poppier territory.
