Komedia is a friendly venue with a great atmosphere. We welcome everyone who wants to see our shows – come on your own, with friends, or with a crowd – however, make sure that we are the right place for your group or celebration as we have strict rules to ensure ALL our customers have a good time and are not disturbed or distracted by other people.
The main Komedia entrance is situated at the front of the café on Gardner Street, 44-47. As you walk in, our door staff will direct you downstairs for the right performance space for your show. You can also buy tickets on the night, by visiting our Box Office situated at the end of the café.

How Do I Get There?
BUS: The closest bus stops to Komedia are ‘North Street’ and ‘St. Peter’s Church’. The venue is a 5 minute walk into the North Laine area from here.

NOTE: There is no on-street parking within the North Laine area. Resident Permits only.
TAXI: Taxis can drop you off outside the venue on Gardner Street. The nearest taxi ranks are: North Street (outside Barclays Bank) New Road (opposite Theatre Royal) There is a freefone in the Komedia Café to arrange pick-up from the venue. TRAIN: Timetable enquiries: 08457 484 950 When you leave the station walk straight ahead along Queens Road, turn second left into North Road, walk down and take the 4th right into Gardner Street. Approx 7 minutes walk. Last train to London leaves Brighton 23:37, arrives London Victoria 01:09.
