Brighton Dome Studio Theatre

Built in 1935 on the site of Maria Fitzherbert’s stables, Brighton Dome Studio Theatre (formerly known as the Pavilion Theatre) was first used as a supper room and became a theatre soon afterwards.

Today, this is the space in which to sample some of the best new theatre and dance from national and international companies alongside artists from the region. Brighton Dome Studio Theatre is also a thriving live music venue proving increasingly popular with both musicians and audiences.

Brighton railway station is 10 minutes’ walk away, with fast, regular services into Brighton from London (from 52 minutes for Southern trains from Victoria and London Bridge) and elsewhere. There is a frequent bus service from all areas of the city. For information on frequent local bus services go to www.buses.co.uk.
Parking

On-street parking is very limited, but more plentiful after 6pm and on Sundays. However there are a number of car parks nearby.

Ticketholders can save 25% on charges from 5pm to midnight in the Church Street Theatre Car Park.*
Simply validate your car park ticket at the venue. The Lanes car park on Black Lion St, accessed from Grand Junction Road on the seafront, is a five minute walk to the venue and charges £4.50 to park from 6pm to midnight. Patrons may find the Lanes Car Park easier to leave after busy performances
*Full price car park charges at time of going to press are Mon- Fri £4, per hour. Max £20 all day, Sat-Sun £5 per hour. Max £25 all day.
