DFA’s New York Dance/Punk legends return to Brighton for their first show in 5 years!
It’s been a while since The Rapture brought us their acclaimed second album, Pieces Of The People We Love, but it was certainly worth the wait!
Returning to their spiritual home DFA, the first track to be released off the highly anticipated third offering, In The Grace of Your Love, is the 6 minute 90s dance opus, How Deep Is Your Love?. Check out the sneak preview here. Piano lines race with saxophone solos and crescendo with The Rapture’s trademark vocals to create another instant classic!
Collaborating with DFA really does seems to bring the best out of The Rapture. It was through this seminal NYC label that the band released their debut Echoes, which went on to be named as Pitchfork album of the year, and featured dancefloor filler, House of Jealous Lovers.
