Friday 1st November: SOLD OUT
AK/DK + Thick Richard + Massive Luxury Overdose at Alphabet, Brighton.
The Brighton-based duo is known for their innovative sound and use of improvisation. Their music is a mix of punk-inspired drums and layers of electronic, synth-filled production that creates an immersive experience for the listener. They will be joined by spoken word artist Thick Richard and duo Massive Luxury Overdose.

Friday 8th November
Samana + Pillow at The Rose Hill, Brighton.
Samana is a folk duo composed of ethereal melodies mixed with dreamy and soulful instrumentation. The pair use captivating background vocals, harmonies drenched in reverb, and unexpected instrumental switches to create a spacious and emotive feeling for the listener. They will be joined by the contemporary classical group Pillow.

Wednesday 13th November
Kris Drever + Heather Cartwright at The Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham-by-Sea
Scottish singer, songwriter, and guitarist Kris Drever combines traditional and contemporary folk influences throughout his vocals, lyrics, and guitar to create a diverse sound that holds an important space in the roots and folk scene today. He will be joined by Heather Cartwright.

Sunday 17th November
Aircooled + ollo at The Green Door Store, Brighton
Aircooled is a 4-piece band from St. Leonard’s. The band’s unique sound mixes aspects reminiscent of indie rock and grunge with the electronic synths of the 80s alongside captivating instrumental breaks. They will be joined by the genre-defying Ollo.

Thursday 21st November
Black Doldrums + Evey at The Rossi bar, Brighton
Black Doldrums are a contemporary, gothic post-punk band that has been releasing music since 2019. Their latest release is ‘In Limerence’. This is the band’s third album and was released on October 18th. They are known for fusing introspective lyrics and dreamy guitar textures with grandiose vocals, bass, and drums.

King Creosote & Emily Barker (Aus) at Komedia, Brighton
King Creosote (Kenny Anderson) is a Scottish singer/songwriter with a vast catalogue spanning genres such as indie rock, folk, and a wide variety of unique pop music. He has been releasing music under the alias of King Creosote since the late 90s, starting out independently before making the switch to Domino Records. He will be joined by award-winning singer/songwriter Emily Barker.

Thursday 28th November
Hejira Celebrating Joni Mitchell at Quarterhouse, Folkestone
Hejira is the 7-piece tribute band set up to honour the works of Joni Mitchel. Since their formation just over a year ago, they have seen the success of sold-out shows and online traction. The band, composed of highly skilled and experienced jazz musicians, is fronted by Hattie Whitehead, who leans perfectly into the ethereal sound that fans of Joni know and love.
